Tent Camping under the Oak Trees
There are many cleared spaces for tent camping in shaded and open areas. Remember to bring a tarp to go underneath your tent to protect it from any briers that may be poking up from the ground. Bring a rake & pair of clippers, if you have them, for a more manicured tent space. If your tent rain fly does not cover your tent to the ground, bring an extra tarp to keep the rain off your tent & belongings. Be prepared to make your own shade if needed.

Alcove Cabins/Trailers/Shelters
We have a few sleeping cabins & travel trailers available to accommodate guests who do not wish to/or don’t own a ‘tent’ during their stay with us. Our cabins and trailers have mattresses and or futons (twin, full and queen size).

Bring your own bedding/pillows. You will also need to bring your own source of solar/battery lights, fans & small propane tent size heaters, if desired.

Cabin Reservations must be made in advance.

Covered Futon Couches.  We have four Futon Couches in the Alcove Sitting Area. They are available for sleeping in a pinch if you find yourself without a tent or cabin reservations. Mosquito netting may be available. Just ask!

Cold Alcove Well Water is accessible at the OutHouse. The Solar Shower is in the process of being renovated to be put back into service soon to eliminate the need to bring solar bags unless used at individual campsites. Please bring sulfate free shampoo and body wash.

IMAG6122A semi-private area has been set aside for cooling down in our Alcove Tub with a view of both Lillie’s Pond and the Willow Pond.  It’s a very refreshing spot to relax during the evening hours as well…. perhaps with a few candles and serenaded by the singers of the land – frogs and cicadas.
